On Wednesday, the 30th of September 2015, young men and women from all corners of Enugu state, Nigeria, gathered together to pray. The amazing thing about this gathering was not that young people came together to pray, but that the gathering comprised of worshippers from all Christians denominations. This is particularly spectacular in our day and time given that it seems as though Christians from different denominations seem to be at each other’s necks more than the foes of the church really are. The reason for the gathering was made clear when the coordinating preacher took over the reins of the service. It was the signs of the times and what Christians are to do in times like this. They had gathered together to seek the face of God given certain strategic events that have been going on in the world and the significances that they hold in the spirit realm and in our world as we know it.
According to Acts 2:19-20 and Joel 2:30-31
"...And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come"According to history and research, the last time four blood moons appearing so closely together and coinciding with the feasts of the Jews; the Passover and the feast of the tabernacles (Sukkot), was about 5 decades ago. The occurrence is so rare that it has only happened 9 times in recorded history, which is including the crucifixion eclipse. According to the historians, these series of events were always accompanied by disastrous events for a particular race or the world generally.
Gospel News Africa later gathered that another major source of concern that led to the convening of the gathering was the worldwide tour currently being embarked on by the Vatican in pursuit of world peace and the eradication of poverty in the next decade and half. According to the conveners, the concept of world peace is something to be embraced and encouraged, but in order for this for to become a reality there will have to be the establishment of a one-world order. Better put, it will entail the coming together of the whole world to have one purse, ONE ECONOMY.
For Christians, this holds a very huge significance as it is clearly a sign of the impending unveiling of the anti-christ. The Bible states that in the time when the anti-christ shall be revealed, that they will give a mark known as ‘the mark of the beast’ to everyone who will receive it as a seal to the eternal damnation of their souls and anyone who refuses to receive this mark, will neither be able to sell or to buy. With the way the African continent is vehemently fighting against the increasing acceptance of gay rights, it is only expected that in order for Africa to offer little or no resistance to other future propositions from the west, a one-world order must be put in place so that the affairs of all the nations of the earth will be governed by the discretion of a single man (or body).
For this purpose, the conveners of this particular gathering which Gospel News Africa learnt are; Rev. Can. Dr. Moses Omeke and Dr. Emeka Udeh, both of the Anglican Communion, deemed it a matter of worldwide security to call this meeting of intense prayers together to enlighten young men and women on how to become “Arrows in the hands of a mighty Man”. Their message: The Coming of Jesus is nearer than when we first believed. Salvation is only found in Christ.
